Second Haridwar Literature Festival on cards

Three day long Haridwar Literature Festival will be held from January 10 next year under the joint aegis of Antah Pravah Society and Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya. The festival will witness poets, artists, theatre actors, literateurs and  eminent persons from creative writing. The festival will be inaugurated by famed Bollywood lyricist Sameer Anjan and  well known writer from Nepal Basant Chowdhary will inaugurate the festival. A special session will be held on his creative writings.
Claude Alvares, famous environmentalist from Goa will hold a special session on conservation of natural heritages. Preeta M Thakur, Theatre Artist and President  Ank Theatre, famous Ghazal writers, Sanskrit poets, singers, actors, on-spot painters will make their presence felt with their cerative strokes. Professor Shravan Kumar Sharma,  President Antah Pravah Society said, “The literature lovers and artists will get a chance to have brush up with experts from various fields . The budding artist get a platform to showcase their talents.” Sanjay Handa,  secretary APS said that a delegation of litterateurs from Nepal will be visiting the festival and Ghazal singing, ‘Dastan Goi’ and narrations on Nepal- India cultural bonds will be hallmarks of the event. The basic motive behind organisation of such festival is to enhance the sensitivity of people towards waning art of poetry, he added. 
A unique interactive session on ‘Gita- The song of life’ will be held on the second day of the festival with the Gita exponent Swami Gyananand of Panipat, focussing on Bhagwadgita for every day life. The saint will deliberate on the practical use of this holy book explaining how the song of Divine is a must in everyone’s life be it a student or a teacher, an actor or a doctorEnds
