In a significant milestone, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology has secured approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to launch new M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) for Working Professionals programs. This development promises to significantly enhance the academic and professional landscape for students in Uttarakhand, offering them advanced opportunities to improve their skills, learn cutting-edge technologies, and secure promising job prospects.

Head of the Department, Mayank Aggarwal, expressed his delight over this achievement, stating, “This approval marks a new era for our institution, enabling us to provide more diverse and advanced educational opportunities to our students. Our new programs are designed to equip students with the necessary skills to excel in the rapidly evolving tech industry.”
Dean Vipul Sharma also congratulated the faculty and staff, acknowledging their hard work and dedication in making this vision a reality. “This is a proud moment for us all. The introduction of these programs will not only benefit our current and prospective students but will also contribute to the growth of the tech ecosystem in Uttarakhand,” he remarked. He also added that as aper AICTE policy , students with valid GATE score taking admissions in M.Tech shall be eligible for scholarship from AICTE, as per AICTE norms.
