Swami Dayamurtyanand Maharaj, Secretary, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram, Kankhal informed that the Mission is organizing a function on the eve of National Youth Day this year on 11 January 2025 from 10 am to 12 noon at the Sevashram premises.
He said that 400 students from 17 schools across the district had participated in various competitions held recently at the Mission Campus, which were held on different days for more than a month.
Swami Ji informed that guests have been invited to distribute prizes to the winners of drawing, quiz, speech and debate competitions. The invited guests include Professor Jitin Singla, Department of Biosciences and Bio Engineering, IIT Roorkee, Mr. Raj K Arora, Proprietor, M/s Safeguard Industries, SIDCUL, Haridwar and Mr. Ankit Narang, Director,
M/s Stitch Solution International Pvt. Ltd., SIDCUL, Haridwar is included.
He informed that cultural programmes will also be presented by the students in this programme. National Youth Day is celebrated every year on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, whose unwavering faith in the potential of youth is deeply connected with the young citizens of the country.
