Dr. Radhika Nagrath honored at the International Yoga Festival,
Haridwar.
On the occasion of the closing of the 38th International Yoga Festival at Rishikesh Parmarth Niketan, Dr. Radhika Nagarath, Managing Yogacharya, writer, thinker and philosopher of Patanjali Yogpeeth, resident of Haridwar, was honored by International Yogacharya Prem Baba from Brazil and Sadhvi Dr. Bhagwati Saraswati, Director of International Yoga Festival of Parmarth Niketan, by presenting her a shawl for the promotion of Indian culture and yoga at national and international level.On this occasion, Dr. Christopher Key Chapple, a professor of Indic studies and comparative Theology at Loyola Marymont university from Los Angeles, USA, was also honored by Sadhvi Bhagwati and Prem Baba during the morning session. Notably Dr. Radhika Nagrath has given lectures on Indian culture and yoga in countries like the United States, England, Canada, Germany, Dubai, and others.Under the International Yoga Festival 2026 organized by Parmarth Niketan Rishikesh, Dr. Radhika Nagrath lectures taught the yoga enthusiasts about the balance of Panchkoshas, the benefits of Pranayam and Mind Sound Resonance Technique for living a stress-free life. Dr. Radhika Nagrath made the yoga enthusiasts practice Yogic Jogging, Asanas, Pranayam and Meditation for Panchkoshas balance.Radhika Nagrath told many seekers from India and abroad who had come to Yoga Ghat, the method of balancing the elements of earth, water, air, fire and sky in the body through different hand postures through tatva and pranic mudras.She said that the human body is made up of five elements and these same five elements are present around us too. The five fingers of our hand represent these five elements. The effect of these five elements on the human body can be balanced through hand mudras. He also taught the technique of relieving stress by resonating the sound of Om, which yoga practitioners said was extremely beneficial. Dr. Radhika Nagrath will share her views in a yoga class on March 20 at Ganga Resort, organized by Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam, Uttarakhand.
