*इन्दिरा गाँधी राष्‍ट्रीय वन अकादमी देहरादून*_*आईएमए कैडेट्स का आईजीएनएफए दौरा*_आईएमए के ऑफिसर कैडेट्स के बीच फॉरेस्ट्री और एनवायरनमेंटल मैनेजमेंट के विषय में इंटर-इंस्टीट्यूशनल लर्निंग और अवेयरनेस को बढ़ावा देने तथा वन विभाग एवं भारतीय सेवा के बीच अंतर-सेवा समझ और सहयोग को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्‍य से इन्दिर गाँधी राष्‍ट्रीय वन अकादमी द्वारा भारतीय सैन्‍य अकादमी के ऑफिसर कैडेट्स के लिए एक एक्सपोज़र विज़िट का आयोजन किया गया। इस विज़िट का मुख्‍य आकर्षण लद्दाख के अनुभवी भारतीय वन सेवा अधिकारी और मुख्‍य रिसोर्स पर्सन, श्री जिग्मेट टकपा, IFS (1990 बैच) द्वारा प्रस्‍तुत मुख्‍य भाषण व पावर पॉइंट प्रेजेंटेशन था।आईएमए के मेंटर और इंस्ट्रक्टर मेजर सुमित सौरव के नेतृत्‍व में यूनिफॉर्म में सुसज्जित आईएमए के 400 से अधिक बहादुर नौजवान, और प्लाटून कमांडरों की एक टीम आईजीएनएफए के हरि सिंह ऑडिटोरियम में एकत्र हुए। कार्यक्रम का आरंभ आईजीएनएफए के सीनियर कंसल्टेंट, श्री एस.आर. रेड्डी के गर्मजोशी भरे स्‍वागत संबोधन से हुआ, जिसके बाद अकादमी के अपर निदेशक श्री राज कुमार बाजपेयी, आईएफएस द्वारा विवेकपूर्ण उद्घाटन भाषण दिया गया। श्री जिग्मेट टकपा ने अपने विचारोत्‍तेजक प्रेजेंटेशन में मुख्‍य रूप से इन बिन्‍दुओं पर ध्‍यान आकर्षित कराया:• जनपद स्‍तर पर वन सेवाओं का ढांचा और काम करने का तरीका• सैन्‍य बलों के कैंटोनमेंट और ऑपरेशनल एरिया में वनों के नियम और नीति• वन विभाग और मिलिट्री इंटरफेस: सहयोग और चुनौतियाँकार्यक्रम का समापन मेजर सुमित सौरव, इंस्ट्रक्टर क्लास A, आईएमए के समापन सम्‍बोधन तथा धन्‍यवाद ज्ञापन के साथ समाप्‍त हुआ।इस कार्यक्रम ने आने वाले मिलिट्री लीडर्स को राष्‍ट्र सुरक्षा, विशेष रूप से दूर-दराज और इकोलॉजिकली सेंसिटिव इलाकों में फॉरेस्ट गवर्नेंस की आवश्‍यक भूमिका को समझने के लिए एक बेहतरीन मंच प्रदान किया। ******* _*IMA Cadets’ visit to IGNFA*_In consonance with the objective of promoting inter-institutional learning and awareness amongst the Officer Cadets about forestry and environmental management and also to foster inter-service understanding and collaboration between the Forest department and Indian Army, an Exposure Visit for Officer Cadets of IMA has been conducted by IGNFA. The centre stage of the visit was the Key note address cum power point presentation by Shri Jigmet Takpa, IFS (1990 batch), an experienced key resource person from Ladakh. The large contingent of over 400 young and brave hearts in uniform from IMA lead by their Mentor and Instructor Major Sumit Saurav and a team of Platoon Commanders assembled in the Hari Singh auditorium of IGNFA. The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Shri S.R. Reddy, Senior Consultant, IGNFA followed by an insightful opening address by Shri Raj Kumar Bajpai IFS, Additional Director, IGNFA. The thought-provoking Presentation by Shri Jigmet Takpa, who focussed on the three following key topics:• Forest Services structure and functioning in a district• Forest rules and policies in Cantonment and Operational Areas of Armed Forces• Forest Department and military interface: collaboration and challenges The event concluded with closing remarks and vote of thanks by Major Sumit Saurav, Instructor Class A, IMA.The visit provided a valuable platform for future military leaders to understand the critical role of forest governance in national security, particularly in remote and ecologically sensitive regions.
