Satpal Brahmachari, elected as MP from Sonipat in Haryana, was given a warm welcome by the people of Haridwar on his arrival. As soon as Satpal Brahmachari’s convoy from Haryana reached Narsan, the entry point of Haridwar district, people welcomed him wholeheartedly and people shouted slogans ‘Jan Neta Jannayak Satpal Brahmachari Zindabad’. Today it was as if Diwali was being celebrated in the whole of Haridwar. Satpal Brahmachari is one of the most popular Congress leaders of Uttarakhand and Haryana. His image is of an honest and very humble leader. The whole of Haridwar was decorated like a bride. That is why the boundaries of political parties were crossed in welcoming him. Everyone welcomed him. It was as if a flood of people had gathered to welcome him.
Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha (Punjab) New Delhi and the management committee, teachers and staff of Shri Mithilesh Sanatan Dharma Inter College Kankhal gave a rousing welcome. As soon as Satpal Brahmachari reached Chandracharya Chowk with his convoy, the national vice president of the Sabha and the chairman of the management committee Sudhir Kumar Gupta, Purushottam Sharma Gandhian, treasurer Dr. Pradeep Kumar Joshi, Principal Mrs. Meenakshi Sharma, Arun Kumar Khanna, Manoj Khanna, senior teacher Rajiv Pant etc. showered flowers on Satpal Brahmachari and showered flowers on him. He was welcomed according to Indian tradition by applying Tilak on him.
National Vice President of the Sabha Sudhir Kumar Gupta and former President of Ganga Sabha Purushottam Sharma Gandhian honoured Satpal Brahmachari by presenting him with a tricolour Khadi Patka. Chandracharya Chowk was decorated with flags and banners by the Sabha.
Satpal Brahmachari is the national minister of Shri Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha, (Punjab) New Delhi. Apart from being an alumnus of Shri Mithilesh Sanatan Dharma Inter College, Satighat, Kankhal, run by the Sabha, he is also the manager of the college’s management committee. Sabha’s national president Dr. Deshbandhu Gupta and executive president Indra Mohan Goswami have extended their heartfelt best wishes and congratulations to Satpal Brahmachari on being elected as MP from Sonipat.
In the National General Assembly meeting of Shri Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha held at Sapt Rishi Ashram, Haridwar under the chairmanship of National President Dr. Deshbandhu, a resolution was passed congratulating Satpal Brahmachari on becoming an MP and wishing him a bright future.
National Vice President of Sabha and Chairman of the Management Committee Sudhir Kumar Gupta said that the selection of Satpal Brahmachari Ji as MP is a matter of pride for the school and Sabha. Apart from being an alumnus of the school, he is also an important officer of the Management Committee and Sabha. The institution will progress more during his tenure.
Sudhir Gupta said that due to the historic victory of Satpal Brahmachari, celebrations were held in Haridwar today.
On this occasion, Satpal expressed his gratitude to the Brahmachari Sabha and the school officials and teachers and said that he was overwhelmed by the affection he received from them and would work for the development of the institution.
Satpal Brahmachari came to Haridwar for the first time after becoming an MP from Sonipat. He was accompanied by 6 MLAs from Sonipat Lok Sabha constituency. Satpal Brahmachari was given a rousing welcome on his arrival in Haridwar and people embraced him with open arms. People were standing to welcome him at various places and the entire Haridwar was covered with banners welcoming him. People gave him a rousing welcome by distributing sweets and fireworks. Satpal Brahmachari is a popular public leader of Congress in Uttarakhand and Haryana. It seemed as if Diwali was being celebrated in Haridwar today.
