Haridwar’s car rallyist Mayank Chopra once again became the Desert Rally winner.

In the *TSD Car Rally* organized by Rally Di Rajputana and Rajasthan Tourism, Haridwar resident Mayank Chopra secured the first position in the category in which he completed a journey of about 3300 kilometers in 3 days and left his rival behind by 35 minutes.Starting from Bikaner, Rajasthan, the journey ended in Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and back to Bikaner. In the car rally, the car riders drove for about 11 to 12 hours in a day. In which Chirag from Himachal accompanied Mayank Chopra as navigator. A total of 106 people participated in this competition in 53 vehicles, in which the entire route had to be covered through the desert. The pair of Mayank Chopra from Haridwar and Chirag Thakur from Himachal won with their car Jeep Rubicon.Mayank Chopra stated that he has participated in approximately 55-56 car rallies so far, winning over 40 of them. He added that he has participated in the most car rally competitions from Uttarakhand and holds the most awards in Uttarakhand. He added that Uttarakhand’s climate is very exciting for car competitors. The government should take note of this and include it in the state’s adventure sports.
