Under the direction of the Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority, Nainital and under the guidance of Shrikant Pandey, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority Almora, Shachi Sharma, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Almora organized a legal awareness camp on the occasion of “Martyrs’ Day” at Himadri Handloom Center, Deenapani. The awareness camp began with the playing of the NALSA theme song (“Ek Muthi Aasman”). Persons present were sensitized about non-violence and the rule of law, peace, equality, justice, human rights in a democracy, peaceful dispute resolution, non-violent resistance, social justice, free legal aid, women’s rights, upcoming National Lok Adalat on 14.03.2026 and ongoing Mediation for the Nation 2.0 campaign etc.Pamphlets related to free legal aid and the NALSA Nari Ki Udaan e-booklet were distributed. The camp concluded with the playing of the NALSA theme song.
