Haridwar, June 11.
Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi reached Haridwar today and participated in Shri Ram Katha being organized from June 7 to 15 in the courtyard of the ancient Radha Krishna temple at Raj Ghat in Kankhal.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi took the blessings of Padma Vibhushan Tulsi Peethadhiswar Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya Maharaj. During this, Minister Ganesh Joshi also listened to Shri Ram Katha from the mouth of Jagadguru Rambhadracharya Maharaj.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said that Jagadguru Tulsi Peethadheeshwar Swami Rambhadracharya Ji Maharaj has given a new dimension and shape to Shri Ram Katha. He is a great saint of this century, whose comparison is incomparable. And Maharaj Shri is the guide of all of us.
While elaborating on the Shri Ram Katha today, Swami Rambhadracharya Maharaj said that in Kaliyug, Shri Ram Katha liberates us from Maya. He said that Maya has four forms.
He said that in Kalyug, listening to Ram Katha liberates one from all sins and only fortunate people get to sing and listen to Ram Katha on the holy banks of Ganga. He said that Ram Katha and Ganga empower a person spiritually.
When Lord Shri Ram and his three brothers went to Guru Vashisht’s ashram for studies, they did not receive education as the princely sons of King Dasharath but as an obedient disciple. Lord Shri Ram always gave a dignified and respectable basis to the tradition of Guru and disciple. Due to which the Guru-disciple tradition became more powerful.
On arrival of Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi at the Katha Sthal, Mahant Govind Das Maharaj, the Karbari of Shri Panchayati Udasin Bada Akhara, welcomed him with a garland and blessed him. Prashant Sharma, the chief host of the organizing committee, Achin Agarwal, senior members of the committee Nitin Mana, Sunil Agarwal Guddu, Akhilesh Bittu Shivpuri, Namit Goyal, Abhinandan Gupta, Gagan Gupta, Gaurav Gupta etc. welcomed Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi by presenting him with clothes, souvenirs and garlands.
The program was conducted by Acharya Shri’s successor Acharya Shri Ram Chandra Das Maharaj.
