The annual elections of the Managing Committee of Shri Mithilesh Sanatan Dharma Inter College, Satighat, Kankhal, conducted by Shri Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha (Punjab), New Delhi, were held unanimously. Sudhir Kumar Gupta was elected president and Satpal Brahmachari was elected manager. While Mahant Swaroop Bihari Sharan was elected Vice President, Dr. Pradeep Joshi was elected Treasurer and Balendu Sharma was elected Deputy Manager. Elections to all the posts were held unopposed.
The election process was conducted after the permission of the Election Commission. The elections were conducted smoothly under the supervision of observer Mahesh Chandra Maithani and election officer Advocate Atul Kumar Bishnoi.
Managing Committee members Indra Mohan Goswami, Subhash Chandra Ghai, Purushottam Sharma Gandhi, Tosh Jain, Sunil Dutt Pandey, Rajendra Kumar Sharma, Manoj Kumar Khanna participated in the election process. The election process was conducted by the college principal, Mrs. Meenakshi Sharma.
Senior teacher Rajeev Pant, teacher KN Joshi, senior clerk Madhu Visht, office in-charge Gambhir Singh Rana and Nitin Kumar etc. cooperated in the election process. The election process was started by garlanding the statue of Tyagamurti Goswami Ganesh Dutt Maharaj, the founder president of Shri Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha (Punjab), New Delhi. Tilak was applied to all the representatives after reciting Swastika. On this occasion, newly elected President Sudhir Kumar Gupta and Manager Satpal Brahmachari said that work will be done for the progress of the school.
