Additional District Magistrate Vaibhav Gupta stated that the Arya Samaj has made a significant contribution to nation-building. The work the Arya Samaj did to instill self-confidence in youth during the time of slavery can never be forgotten. The blend of Vedic and modern education provided by the Arya Samaj to youth during the time of slavery awakened a spirit of patriotism within them. He added that the Arya Samaj has made a significant contribution to the field of women’s education.Additional District Magistrate Gupta was speaking as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the nine-day Aryaveer Dal residential and Arya Veerangna training camp. The nine-day training camp for students concluded successfully at the Arya Samaj Mandir, Sector 1, BHEL. More than 150 students from across the country received education in Vedic rituals and character building.Additional District Magistrate Vaibhav Gupta praised the students’ dedication and bravery. He said that the ideas of Swami Dayanand Saraswati and Swami Shraddhanand will remain relevant in every era. The Arya Samaj created a society of social equality by eliminating the evils of caste, language, and untouchability prevalent in society.The closing ceremony was presided over by Acharya Dr. Ram Krishna. In his presidential address at the end of the program, he became emotional and announced a donation of ₹51,000 from his own side and ₹21,000 from the Mata Lilavati Arya Bhikshu Paropkarini Trust. Other distinguished guests present on the stage also donated generously so that such character-building camps for children can be organized in the future.Balveer Talwar, President of Arya Samaj BHEL and former Executive Director of BHEL, stated that through this camp, Arya warrior women and warriors studied Vedic disciplines such as sword fighting, stick fighting, spear throwing, Legion, Yoga, meditation, Yagya, intellectual knowledge, and practiced spiritual practice. Talwar stated that Arya Samaj BHEL will continue its work of character building.Yogendra Medhavi, Madan Singh, Rajveer Singh, Jyoti Arya, Ved Prakash Gautam, Somesh Goyal, Archit Chandwani, Mahendra Ahuja, O.P. Batra, and other executive members provided full support in organizing the camp. Senior Vice President Krishna Kumar Chandwani, Treasurer Rajveer Singh, and Secretary Madan Singh made special contributions to the event.Acharya Yogendra Medhavi was honored by two special guests, former head of Vanaprastha Ashram DK Pandey and social worker Sanjeev Gupta by giving him a total prize money of Rs 22000 for efficient training and running of the camp. Children from Delhi, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and various other areas along with their parents were very energetic and they extended their support in the camp.Dignitaries from the Arya Vanaprastha Ashram in Haridwar congratulated the workers on the successful organization of the camp and also donated generously. Volunteers included Saurabh Goyal, Ashok Kumar, Sunil Kumar Saini, Prahlad, and Tushar Rajput.Swarnika’s father, commenting on the camp’s conclusion, said, “The experiences my daughter had at the Arya Samaj BHEL Sector-1 camp from May 30th to June 7th were very humbling and inspiring. Initially, she was completely reluctant to attend the camp and repeatedly refused. We were also concerned about whether she would feel comfortable there.”But as the days passed, her enthusiasm grew. She made new friends, participated in numerous activities, learned about values ​​and wisdom, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the camp. Seeing her happy and confident today fills me with pride and satisfaction. This camp not only brought her joy but also brought positive changes to her personality and thinking. My heartfelt thanks to all the Acharyas, teachers, and organizers of the Arya Samaj for providing such a wonderful opportunity for children to learn, grow, and acquire good values ​​for life.
