Acharya Shri was speaking as the chief guest at the 125th anniversary celebrations of the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram, Kankhal. Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Avdheshanand Giri Maharaj said that the 125-year history of the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram, Kankhal, has been a glorious one, dedicated to the service of humanity. He added that the spiritual power of God is tangibly visible in the saints of the Mission. All the saints praised the work of Swami Dayamurthynand Maharaj, Secretary of the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram, Kankhal, saying that he is a highly educated saint in the field of medicine, humble, and filled with saintly spirit. Since he took charge of the Kankhal Ashram, it has expanded rapidly, and many medical facilities, such as the Ayushman Card, have been added.Shri Mahant Gyan Dev Singh Vedantacharya Maharaj of Shri Nirmal Panchayati Akhara said that Ramakrishna Mission Seva Shram Kankhal is a major institution that puts the ideas of Swami Vivekananda into practice.Mahamandaleshwar Swami Harichetnanand Maharaj said that this hospital has been selflessly serving the medical field since its inception. A dedication souvenir was also released on this occasion, which features photographs and authors’ descriptions of the Sevashram’s 125-year journey.Swami Atma Shraddhanand of the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram in Mumbai said that those who worship idols are devotees in the initial stage, but only those who recognize God in every living being and begin to serve them truly worship. Sevashram Kankhal is embodying this fundamental principle of his in the form of “Nar Seva Narayan Seva.”Swami Balabhadranand Maharaj, Assistant General Secretary of Ramakrishna Belur Math, congratulated Swami Dayamurthyananda Maharaj, Secretary of Kankhal Sevashram, on getting approval for the expansion of Nursing Hostel. Swami Dayamurthyananda said that Ramakrishna Mission Kankhal is to be expanded further, more modern facilities will be provided in the field of medicine here and a Nursing College will also be opened in the future.
