Akames Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Limited, India’s leading pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), has launched the “Earn-Educate Scheme” as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. This unique educational and employability initiative is designed for students who have completed their 12th grade. Through this program, students will have the opportunity to earn a three-year B.Sc. (Chemistry) degree while gaining practical industry experience, thereby laying a strong foundation for their careers.This program offers young people an effective model for combining quality education and practical experience. Through the Work Integrated Learning Program (WILP), selected participants will receive academic study from a prestigious university, along with structured workplace training, industry engagement, regular workshops, and mentorship from experienced experts. This integrated approach not only provides students with an accredited degree, but also provides them with industry-relevant skills, practical understanding, and better career preparation.Speaking at the launch of this initiative, Sandeep Jain, Managing Director, Akams Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd., said, “Education and employment are the two pillars of positive change in society. Interested candidates who have passed the 12th grade in science in 2024-25 or 2025-26 with a minimum of 50% marks and are 18 years of age or older can apply.
