Haridwar. In a significant initiative towards building a clean and healthy society, the Akams Foundation, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme, dedicated two modern e-loaders for garbage collection to the Bahadrabad development block. These e-loaders were jointly flagged off by the Honorable District Magistrate, Haridwar, Mr. Mayur Dixit (IAS) and Mr. Sandeep Jain, Managing Director, Akams Group.On this occasion, District Magistrate Mr. Mayur Dixit praised the work being done by the Akams Foundation for the welfare of society and said that the social participation of industries gives new direction to cleanliness, environmental protection and rural development. He said that through joint efforts of the administration and industries, the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan can be made even more effective.Mr. Sandeep Jain, Managing Director of the Akams Group, stated that the Akams Foundation is continuously working in the fields of education, health, environmental protection, and community development. He added that cleanliness is a shared responsibility of every citizen, and with this in mind, e-loaders are being provided to strengthen the waste collection system in rural areas.He informed that the Akams Foundation has already provided two e-loaders to the Gram Panchayat Rawali Mahdood and Gram Panchayat Salempur, which are currently playing a vital role in strengthening the sanitation system in rural areas by collecting garbage from door to door. With these two new e-loaders given to the Bahadarabad development block, the Foundation has now provided a total of four e-loaders for the rural sanitation campaign. These vehicles will not only improve solid waste management but will also help in creating a clean and healthy environment.Regional Manager, SIDCUL Haridwar Mr. Kamal Kishore Kafaltia, Block Development Officer Bahadrabad Mr. Manas Mittal, administrative officers, representatives of AKAMs Foundation and other dignitaries participated in the program. On this occasion, Mr. K.D. Sharma, Mr. V.P.S. Rawat, Mr. Satya Prakash, Mr. Samandar Singh Dhakad, Mr. Lalit Arora, Mr. Amit Chaudhary, Ms. Pranvi, Ms. Archana Saini, Ms. Aditi, Mr. Saket, Mr. Yujraj Dutta, Mr. Ishant, Mr. Ankit, Ms. Ritika, Ms. Megha and other officers and employees of AKAMs Group were present.
