Haridwar.Notices are being sent to parties to cases pending in the Supreme Court related to the district, inviting them to a pre-meeting and conciliation talks at the District Legal Services Authority office. If the talks are successful, the necessary action will be taken with the authority’s cooperation to have the cases resolved in a special Lok Adalat.Mrs. Simranjit Kaur, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Haridwar district, has appealed to all litigants to contact the court or the District Legal Services Authority office for a speedy and amicable resolution of their pending cases. A special Lok Adalat will be held at the Supreme Court, New Delhi, on August 21, 22, and 23, 2026, as part of the “Samadhan Samaroh.”He stated that this special Lok Adalat will resolve various types of cases pending in the Supreme Court through mutual reconciliation and compromise. These include criminal cases, motor accident compensation suits, check bounce cases, bank loan and recovery matters, civil and matrimonial suits, insurance claims, cases involving government and public enterprises, educational and service matters, and other types of cases.The District Legal Services Authority Secretary informed that the litigants whose cases are pending in the Supreme Court and who want a speedy and amicable solution to their cases, must get their cases listed in the Supreme Court by August 20, 2026.
