The Hindi Journalism Day celebration organized by the Press Club was inaugurated by Chief Guest Director General of Police Abhinav Kumar, Chief Speaker Senior Journalist Shamsher Singh, Press Club President Amit Kumar Sharma and General Secretary Pradeep Kumar Joshi by lighting the lamp. Chief Guest Director General of Police Abhinav Kumar and Senior Journalist Shamsher Singh were welcomed by Press Club President Amit Kumar Sharma and General Secretary Pradeep Kumar Joshi by presenting bouquets, souvenirs, Gangajali, Rudraksh garland and shawls. During this, senior journalists of the Press Club also welcomed both the guests by garlanding them. Addressing the Hindi Journalism Day celebration, Director General of Police Abhinav Kumar congratulated the Journalism Day and said that both speaking and listening to the truth face difficulties. He said that journalism is a mission. The journalist community does the work of showing the mirror to the society. He said that journalists also have a decisive role in the development of the state. Police and journalist community contribute in solving many complexities by establishing coordination. He said that journalists have a decisive role in maintaining the relevance of journalism in this life of social media. It is difficult to speak and hear the truth in today’s era. Journalists have to face this. He also shared his experiences of Kumbh. He said that the police and journalists are very close. He started his professional life with journalism. He shared his experiences of journalism.
Chief speaker senior journalist Shamsher Singh said that the journalist community will have to unite to promote Hindi. Hindi plays a decisive role in the development, progress and nation building of the nation. He said that many types of changes are coming in the field of journalism. Journalists have to maintain their hold in maintaining the strong base of Hindi journalism. The journalist community will have to play a decisive role in the promotion of Hindi. He said that the journalist community earns fame in its city, village and surrounding areas through its writings. Many families look at journalists with respect. Social media is rapidly affecting people. We should make Hindi a strong base. Chief Convenor Adesh Tyagi, Convenor Sanjay Arya expressed their gratitude to Director General of Police Abhinav Kumar and senior journalist Shamsher Singh and spoke on the proud subject of journalism. Chief Convenor Adesh Tyagi read out the congratulatory letter in honor of Director General of Police Abhinav Kumar and presented it to him with love and respect. He said that Hindi Journalism Day has been celebrated every year in the Press Club. Students who have performed excellently in the Journalism Faculty have also been honored with Sant Harischandra Singh Bhati, Yogi Shobhanath and Baba Ramswaroop Memorial Gold Medals. Senior journalists Sunil Dutt Pandey, Sanjay Rawal, Shravan Jha, Praveen Jha, Dr. Radhika Nagarath, Kulbhushan Sharma, Sandeep Rawat, Manoj Khanna, Gurpreet Kalra and Treasurer Rahul Verma, Cultural Secretary Yogendra Singh Mavi were included in the organizing committee. Sunil Kumar, a student of Hindi Journalism of Gurukul Kangri University, Kumari Rashmi of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Kumari Pragya Kushwaha of Dev Sanskriti University were honored by the guests by presenting medals and certificates.
