Well-known veteran educationist Jogendra Lal Jaggi has merged with Panchatattva. He was cremated at Kankhal crematorium. His son Alok Kumar lit the funeral pyre of his father. He left behind his only son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. There was mourning in the education world on his death. He breathed his last at the age of 87 in a private hospital in Kankhal, (Haridwar). He was ill for several days.
He served as a teacher of Mathematics, English and Economics for more than 37 years in Shri Mithilesh Sanatan Dharma Inter College, Satighat, Kankhal. He was considered an expert on the rules of the education world.
He was born in 1936 in Pindigheb (Rawalpindi) town of undivided India. After the partition of India, he left Pakistan at the age of 11 and came to India and studied as a student at Shri Mithilesh Sanatan Dharma Inter College in Kankhal and also served as a teacher in the same school. He had a deep connection with the Sanatan Dharma family. He was also well versed in Ayurveda and operated Sanatan Pharmacy for many years.
